Halloween

Iggy & Jewels. Iggy hated his costume and wouldn't move the whole time he had it on. Jewles loved hers and wore it all night.

What a week. SheShe has been in town all week from Texas and Kyla has been loving every minute of it. Probably because she has been getting spoiled! From the moment their feet hit the ground in the morning they were on the go. They went to the park, put makeup on, played dressed up, danced, cooked cupcakes, (some how during th cupcake process poor Iggy ended up with batter all over him), and who knows what else they did all day long. All we know is that they both were ready for bed pretty early every night.

We carved pumpkins one of the nights she was her and had a blast doing it. Kyla loved cleaning out the pumpkins so needless to say she got to clean out almost all the pumpkins.

I want my tooth back!

Last week Kyla lost her first baby tooth and like everything in her life it was pretty dramatic! First she was all upset that she lost it but then we explained that if she puts it under her pillow when she goes to bed the tooth fairy will bring her money! Every girls dream..... Wake up in the morning and find money under our pillow! Well not for Kyla. The next morning when she looked under her pillow and found some money and lip stick she was not a happy camper. She wanted to go hunt down the tooth fairy and get her tooth back, because it belongs to her and she just couldn't believe that the tooth fairy took it. Well after a few days she gave up the search and started to except the fact that she is never going to get her tooth back!

Kyla's School Program

First off please ignore the first posting of Kyla's school program I hit post some how!

Anyway....

Are little priness had her very first school program and I have to be honest we were a little worried at how she would do, but she did amazing!

From the moment Kyle and I arrived she couldn't keep her eyes off of us. She kept telling everyone one there is my daddy and Tiffanie with the biggiest smile ever, and through out the entire program she would stop and wave and blow us kisses.. Up until the last two songs she did really good about keeping her focuse but any hour and half later what 5 year old isn't going to lose intersest.

If you go to youtube and search ktgillespie13 you will be able to see her in action.

Summer Project

Okay so this is probably a little lame to blog about but I can't lie I am pretty proud of myself. this summer I decided that I was going to take up sewing. Most people start with simple little projects but not me! I decided to do a jelly roll quilt. You are probably thinking what is that. Well you get a roll of about 60 strips of fabric and you have to sew them one by one on a piece of fabric. Well about 4 month later and many of choice words and hair pulling my quilt is FINALLY DONE!
